Dear Marco, could you at some point have a look at this: <http://www.dynare.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4402> http://www.dynare.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4402 1. Currently, identification only prints out the error code from info, but does not display the explicit error message of print_info. What do you think about making this more explicit? 2. I dont know if there is a way to avoid the problem and continue to run identification. I tried moving the identification command before the estimated_params-block in order for prior_exist to be set to 0 (line 102-109). However, then identification crashes in line 130 with ??? Error using ==> dynare_estimation_init at 153 ESTIMATION: the 'estimated_params' block is mandatory (unless you are running a smoother) Thus, there seems to be some inconsistency between Dynare_identification and dynare_estimation_init Best, Johannes -- Johannes Pfeifer Haußerstr. 29 72076 Tübingen Tel.: +49-(0)7071-6396184 Mobil.: +49-(0)170-6936820 Germany
Dear Johannes, thanks for the warning, I will look into this. I am also taking care if another issue http://www.dynare.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4355 However, it will be a bit slow because I had an accident one week ago and broke my arm, so I have some limited efficiency at work. Concerning your questions: 1) this can be done; 2) there is a bug in there, I'll fix it. best Marco On 2/11/2013 10:01 AM, Johannes Pfeifer wrote:

Dear Johannes, do you still have the project from FabiaC providing those errors? in the forum the posted mod is no longer available. best Marco On 2/11/2013 10:01 AM, Johannes Pfeifer wrote:
